Located in Stephenville, Texas, Tarleton State University is a public university, located just outside Dallas. It was established in 1899, is a part of Texas A&M University System. Tarleton State has over 13,000 students enrolled in various undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral courses offered by its seven academic colleges.
In order to make education easily accessible to all, Tarleton State has extended online education to Waco, Midlothian, and Fort Worth. Furthermore, the university takes pride in carrying out extensive research work through its two research centres, Texas Institute for Applied Environmental Research and the Southwest Regional Dairy Center.
