Shidler College of Business is a prominent public business college in the U.S. established in 1949 by Jay H. Shidler. The College was renamed from University of Hawai‘i to Shidler College of Business in 2006. Shidler College of Business Placements

The Career Services and Development Office of the college actively supports undergraduate and graduate students in job search. The office serves as a bridge between prospective employers and students looking for jobs. During the course of the program, undergraduate and graduate students get to work on internships with sponsor companies for 150 hours per semester.

The school also organizes internships and career expos. The expo is organized for all semester in October and spring semester in February. Requirements for admission

  • Applicants must be in the process of completing secondary school education or have completed it .
  • Applicants must have a cumulative or overall Grade point average ( GPA ) of B or higher. Grades received in mathematics and science courses will be focused upon.
  • Official transcripts and examination certificates demonstrating all high school and post secondary work. These must be submitted to the Office of Admissions and mailed directly from the institution or Ministry of Education.
  • English translated copies that are certified by a school or Ministry of education along with the original documents must be submitted if they are not in English.
  • English language proficiency test scores
  • Minimum 1 letter of recommendation
  • Personal statement essay describing future goals and objectives.
  • Standardized SAT or ACT scores . These tests are optional for prospective students applying for the 2021-2022 session. Students can be exempt from submitting ACT scores if they have overall excellent performance or have been awarded in certain competitive exams such as below :
