Residence Facilities at Albright College

The residential campus is located at the base of Mount Penn.

  • There are 7 residence halls including Honors Housing, North Hall, Albright Court, Albright Woods, Affinity Houses and Rockland Hall.
  • Rooms are generally 12’ x 12’. Rugs are about 10’ x 10’. Rooms are equipped with desks, desk chairs, beds, dressers, closets, a micro-fridge, cable TV, Wireless internet with no cord. There are free laundry facilities for the students.
  • The Public Safety Office is located right across the residence halls and is open throughout the day and night. The college also provides for an emergency text messaging system in case of any emergency. Emergency phones are located across campus to access if required.

Albright College is located in Reading, Pennsylvania, and has a campus size of 118 acres. Berks Community Media Center is a center to take an initiative with students in communication and digital aspects

  • Center for computing and Mathematics holds three computer labs and a SunStation Lab along with IT Services.
  • Gingrich Library and Administration is located at the heart of the campus housing numerous books for the students and faculty for research and study.
  • The Albright College has an Alumni Memorial Hall where the design department is also located.
  • McMillan Student Center holds the college’s bookstore, dining hall, a snack bar, coffee shop, a lounge, mailroom and a lecture hall along with meeting rooms, student activities and student organization offices.
  • School LifeSports Center includes indoor track and field facilities. It can also be used for other sports and also includes racquetball courts and a group fitness room.
  • Schumo Center for Fitness and Well-being has a cardiovascular fitness room, a weight room, a group fitness room, a wellness classroom, a conference space, offices, locker rooms, an atrium, and a café.
  • Gene Shirk Stadium is a stadium that can accommodate 5,000 people for football, hockey, soccer and other sports.
  • Bollman Center can be set up for various sports such as basketball, volleyball, badminton and wrestling. It also includes athletic offices, locker rooms, and physical training facilities.
  • There is also a swimming pool featured in the college offering aqua-aerobics, aqua jogging, open swim, learn-to-swim classes, a junior swim team and other activities.
  • Center for Arts was made for music, theatre, and art programs with 5 soundproof rehearsal rooms and other facilities.
  • Freedman Gallery is a part of the college and it is ranked in the top 10 college art galleries in the country.
  • Student life in Albright College is very active as there are plenty of opportunities for students such as Athletic training, counseling center, fitness centers, clubs & organizations, Greek Life, etc.
  • Clubs and Organisations at Albright College include academic organizations, arts organizations, club sports, spiritual organizations, honors organizations, media organizations, recreational organizations, etc.
